De Makita DGA506Z Accu Haakse Schuurmachine (18 V, 125 mm) is het eerste model met automatische snelheidsregeling, die optimale prestaties voor elke taak garandeert. De borstelloze motor levert meer kracht en is energiezuiniger. De elektronische overbelastingsbeveiliging en elektronische rem zorgen voor zowel prestaties als veiligheid. De Automatische Koppelsturing (ADT) past de snelheid van de motor automatisch aan op basis van de belasting. De 3-traps LED-indicator toont de batterijstatus, oververhitting of overbelasting. Met een trillingsniveau van slechts 2,5 m/s² is het werken met het gereedschap comfortabel. Het gereedschap weegt slechts 2,3–2,6 kg met batterij.
